The Developer Behind MacroMuse

Hello! I am Vishesh Singh, an undergraduate Information Technology (IT) student as of 2026 with a passion for modern web technologies, AI integrations, and building products that make a tangible difference in daily life.

Why MacroMuse Was Created

Like many people striving to eat healthier and stay conscious of their nutritional intake, I constantly found conventional calorie counter apps frustrating:

  • Manual search fatigue: Typing in every individual ingredient, brand, and gram count turned eating into an accounting session.
  • Cluttered experiences: I wanted a calmer place to see meals, daily targets, and progress together.
  • Lack of real assistance: Knowing you have 400 calories left is useless unless you know what nutritious meal to cook next.

MacroMuse brings those steps together: describe a meal or upload a food photo, review the AI nutrition estimate, and choose whether to log it. When you need a cooking idea, ask AI Chef using the ingredients you have.

What you can do today

Photo and text meal logging

Upload or capture a food photo, or type a meal description. Review estimated calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and portion details before logging. You can edit or remove meal entries later.

AI Chef and recipe cards

Ask cooking questions or share your ingredients for recipe ideas. Recipe cards include ingredients, steps, estimated nutrition, and a serving selector. Log what you ate with the Log meal button; Pro also lets you save recipes to your collection.

Targets, progress, and hydration

Set your profile, activity level, and goal preference to calculate daily calorie and macro estimates. Follow daily totals, meal history, water intake, and progress trends. Pro adds printable PDF progress reports.

Web app, Android, and reminders

Use MacroMuse in your browser, install the web app on supported devices, or visit Downloads for the Android APK. Cloud records sync when you are online; cached pages and data offer limited offline viewing. Optional push reminders depend on browser and device support.

Free and MacroMuse Pro

Free includes 3 meal logs and 5 AI Chef replies per day, with allowances resetting at 00:00 UTC. Calorie, macro, hydration, and progress tracking are included. Saving recipes and PDF exports require Pro.

MacroMuse Pro is US$5 or ₹500 once for lifetime access. Pro includes unlimited meal logs, Chef replies, and saved recipes, plus PDF progress exports. Short-term service limits still apply to keep the app available.

Pro currently activates with a code on your signed-in account; the activation form does not collect a payment. Earlier time-limited activations keep the expiry shown in Settings. You can cancel Pro in Account & data; meals and saved recipes stay, and previously saved recipes remain readable on Free. Cancelling does not issue a refund.

Useful estimates for everyday decisions

Food photos cannot reveal every ingredient, cooking oil, or exact portion weight. AI can also make mistakes. Review meal and recipe estimates, adjust your entries where needed, and use package information when it is available.

AI Chef uses the ingredients and questions you share, along with recent conversation context. It does not automatically read your full meal diary or remaining macro budget. Check recipes for allergens, dietary suitability, and safe preparation.

MacroMuse provides general nutrition and cooking information. Its AI estimates, calculated targets, and articles are not medical advice or a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional.

6

Your account and your data

Firebase handles sign-in and cloud storage, Groq processes AI requests, and Vercel hosts the website and server functions. We cache account information on your device to help pages open faster. Online access is required for AI requests and cloud saves.

You can edit your profile, remove meals and saved recipes, and manage reminders in the app. Clearing local data in Settings removes this browser’s cached app data; cloud-account deletion requests go to macromuseai@gmail.com. Read the Privacy Policy for details.

The MacroMuse Journal shares practical guides to meals, food labels, and habits. You can report issues or suggest improvements through Feedback.
